The challenge

GlobalData faced the challenge of managing two separate Pardot instances across 34 media sites, encompassing over 2 million contacts. This challenge was further complicated by limited internal resources and an imminent Salesforce/Pardot renewal, with a demanding three-month deadline.

Leveraging expertise: We deployed our specialised Pardot migration team, supplemented by technical architects and implementation experts. This ensured a holistic and thorough approach to the migration process.

Rapid pre-sales workshops: Acknowledging the urgency, we conducted a series of pre-sales workshops, strategically planned around the Christmas break. This aligned with the three-month Salesforce contract window.

Strategic migration design: Our meticulous design focused on important key aspects, including:

  • Data cleanliness and accuracy.
  • Removing approximately 50% of outdated contacts.
  • Implementing of over 30 Business Units to manage different brands effectively.
  • Introducing of a streamlined migration process.
Comprehensive HubSpot solution: We structured a comprehensive HubSpot solution that involved:
  • Marketing Hub Enterprise.
  • Operations Hub Enterprise.
  • Add-ons such as multiple Business Units, a contact database expansion to 2 million, domain limit increase, dedicated IP, and transactional email.
Delivering value: Our tailored HubSpot solution ensured that GlobalData had access to all essential tools to effectively support their growth strategy.
